Saturday is for errands!

Here's Braeden in the grocery store in his favorite aisle. As you can see, we lead very exciting lives. Saturday we went to Home Depot, out to lunch, then to the grocery store. Braeden, like his mom, loves to run errands. And for that, we're truly grateful! Like at La Fiesta, this is Braeden's first time riding in the top section of the cart. He's in his floppy seat again which is supposed to protect him from touching any part of the germy cart, but as you can see, it didn't work as well on the Bi-Lo cart. As we were checking out, we noticed that Braeden was biting the thin metal bar you can see in the photo! Yuck!

Then on Sunday we went to Baby Depot and bought a convertible car seat for Braeden. The weight limit on the infant seat we've been using is 22 pounds. He can't ride facing forward until he's a year old, so that's why we had to buy the convertible seat. This one has to stay in the car, so the days of carrying him around asleep in a car seat are over. Now he has to ride in the shopping cart and sit in the restaurant's high chair! Big day for little B!

That floppy cover looks very comfortable and cozy and I'm thinking that if Braeden feels a nap coming on, he cuddle in that cover and sleep a few winks in between errands! -- what a great invention!
